2024 Holiday and Special Event Hours
Memorial Day: First Division Museum is open
Labor Day: Cantigny is open until 10 pm, First Division Museum is open until 5 pm
Indigenous Peoples’ Day: Cantigny & First Division Museum are open
Thanksgiving: Cantigny & First Division Museum are closed November 28 & 29
Christmas: Cantigny & First Division Museum are closed December 24 & 25
New Year’s Eve: Cantigny & First Division Museum are closed December 30-31
Cantigny Admission
Cantigny is now selling admission in advance. Admission is still by the vehicle, not person, but fees vary by day. The gardens and grounds are open Friday – Sunday. For complete pricing, visit our event calendar.
Please note: Last admission is 30 minutes prior to closing time.
Parking fees for 2024 will be as follows:
- $5 weekdays through October 31
- $5 weekends through April 30
- $15 weekends May through October ($20 for concert Sundays)
- Free Wednesdays March through October (advance registration required)
- Free parking on Veterans Day (November 11)
- Parking fees for November and December will be announced later in 2024

Museums for All is a cooperative initiative between the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) and the Association of Children’s Museums (ACM) to encourage increased and regular museum attendance by low-income and underserved families.
Museums for All allows any visitor with a state-issued Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) Link card or WIC card to enter the park for $1.
