McCormick Museum, Jefferson Portico (porch) 2:00-4:00 pm Enjoy an afternoon tea, much like those the ladies of the house would have enjoyed! Tour the museum’s reception hall and dining room, and get a sneak peek “behind the scenes” at the kitchen and servants' areas before sitting down to tea. After a brief discussion of tea and table etiquette and enjoying the treats, we will make pressed posie greeting cards and string handmade paper bead necklaces. Please come dressed to impress- party dresses, gloves, hats and boas are encouraged! Grandmothers, aunts etc. welcome. Ages 6-12, Cost $20 (per couple, $12 each additional person).
