Easter Hoppenings

Easter Egg Hunt Open House

Saturday, April 8 & Sunday, April 9 | 9 am - 1 pm
$5 per car parking


We are extending our egg hunt over two days this year! The Egg Hunt will run continuously from 9 am - 1 pm both days. This event is an open house-style and for ALL AGES.

Bring your baskets or decorate your own Easter Bag!
Limit: 5 eggs per child.

Come visit the Easter Bunnies!

We will have “Mr. Bunny” at the Robert R. McCormick Museum and “Mrs. Bunny” at The First Division Museum, so be sure to stop by both locations for a photo any time from 9 am – 12 pm.

Decorate an Easter Bag!

Hop over to the Education Center and get creative! Decorate a canvas bag before collecting your eggs. $3/bag | 9 am – 12 pm while supplies last.

No registration required. A map will be given at the parking booth with all activity locations. This event will be held rain or shine!

Don't forget to stop by the Visitor Center for the USBORNE BOOK FAIR from 9 am - 4 pm inside the Visitors Center and shop some of the greatest children's books around! Also, the movie "Hop" will be playing continuously throughout the event in the Visitors Center theater if you need a break.

$29 for adults | $20 for children (ages 4 - 10)

No charge for children 3 years and younger 

Includes parking fee | Reservations are required 


Enjoy a hearty buffet at Le Jardin inside the Cantigny Visitors Center and have your child photographed with the Easter Bunny. Enjoy two strolling balloon artists and a face painter. (Pricing does not include tax or gratuity).
