Cantigny Park was the home of Colonel Robert R. McCormick (1880–1955), long-time editor and publisher of the Chicago Tribune. He left his 500-acre estate to the community, and now you can enjoy his gift as a Cantigny Park member. In keeping with Colonel McCormick’s wishes, Cantigny is a special place for both recreation and education. During all four seasons, the park is a popular destination for festivals, workshops, concerts, banquets and weddings.
